He must be a man that has put his hand to the plow, has been tried and tested but has not given up, instead has wrung his hands, and has said I am your servant for ever, let your will and good pleasure be done. He is a man that has learned not to allow anything to come between God’s love for him, nor between his love for God, most importantly he has learned not to stand in the way of God’s love for men, Romans 5: 5, instead he has confirmed his oneness with the Father and the Son. He does not frustrate the grace of God. His major mark is godliness with contentment, his allies are patience, perseverance, and persistence. He has become one with God and as such a Defender of the Faith and Life of Christ. This man rests in God, he is merry, his heart is on a continual feast on the goodness of God, his hope is in the promises of God, the joy of the Lord is his comfort. From here springs the eloquence of such a man, he truly is the one that can freely boast that he knows God, yet does not. He sees the world as a table of God’s unfinished work, he is not stressed, but rather he prays for wisdom and says to God what would you want me to do. Such is the man that can be trusted to come through for God, such are the men whom God will gift and ordain to take charge of his business.

13. The Christian maturity required to qualify for the position. Maturity is not related to knowledge, but rather to the application of ones knowledge, with the Christian this can only happen in the walk that God has for him in Christ. Christ said, Put on my yoke and learn of me. These words received, the yoke put on, and the appropriate amount of time spent with Christ is what will bring this man to the point were he will have reached a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, enough to make him fit for the Master’s use and so ready to be released and ordained to take on the position God has for him.

Comment re education and experience: CEC Canada has chosen not to specify University Degrees nor length of experience, the reason it believes those who will apply will also know what type of degrees and experience would give them what they need to satisfy the demands of this portfolio. These then are asked for on the application, as well on your resume.
